Arcturus Space Station is a notable Space Station located in theRucotov System on Rucotov II.
Overview
The Arcturus Space Station is a Research Station orbiting Rucotov II in the Rucotov System. It was founded by a Team of Scientists around Dr. Marlow for research on Particle Physics, especially Zero-point Energy. It was also the epicenter of the Cataclysm, which killed (nearly) all life forms on the Station. Since then, the Station is inhabited only by Echo of Marlow.
History
Construction
The Arcturus Space Station was designed by Dr. Marlows Team and build by an unknown construction company. It's location was chosen based on three factors:
- unimportant system with a low population
- solar system with a Deuterium rich gas giant
- relative proximity to major shipping lane
